After five enterprises in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) were included on the state-level outstanding enterprise list, the 2021 list of outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Beijing was also announced on May 18.

Twenty regional BDA enterprises were ranked. 

When the dust settles, there will be 130 outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises in the BDA.

Xloong Technology, which was listed among the outstanding SMEs, recently developed a successful MicroLED grating waveguide display module. 

Even while advancing display quality the module has achieved minimization of volume and weight and can be hidden in AR smart glasses' temple, bringing their appearance closer to ordinary ones.

Another BDA company, Beijing Etechwin Electric Co.,Ltd, also recently released an innovative energy storage product — a modular energy storage integrated machine  called the Energy Brick. The service life of an electrical system can be increased by 50 percent, or up to 15 years.

The list of the first batch of SMEs to be recognized as outstanding enterprises in Beijing in 2021 also includes MT-Hirisun, Starsportmed, China Supercloud, Silian China, Cygnus Biosciences, and Millennium Vision Technologies,  and covers industries such as biotechnology and health and new-generation information technology.

Currently, the BDA has cultivated a total of 10 national-level outstanding enterprises and 110 outstanding Beijing SMEs. The superior innovative soil there allows SMEs to take root and grow.
