The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced its 2021 list for green manufacturing, including factories, design products, industrial parks and supply chain management enterprises.

Twenty-nine companies in Beijing are on the list, including nine companies in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA), accounting for 31 percent.

Among the selected BDA enterprises, there are four enterprises in the robot and intelligent manufacturing industry - Beijing ABB Switch Co., Ltd., Beiren Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Etechwin Electric Co., Ltd., Beijing Hollysys Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

In the field of new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles, three companies are on the list - Gestamp Automotive Components (Beijing) Co., Ltd., ZF Automotive Chassis Systems (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Grammer Automotive Interior Parts (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

In addition, Mondelez Foods (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Beijing Tongrentang Health Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. are also on the list. More industries in the BDA are transforming and upgrading to achieve green and low-carbon production.

In recent years, based on its green development environment, the BDA has established a regional zero-carbon association and a carbon neutrality research institute, formulated a "dual carbon" action plan, actively explored carbon governance paths, and strived to build a number of green factories, products and supply chains, contributing "Beijing E-Town Power" to China's green development.
