Simulation test platform for autonomous driving launched

Updated: 2022-02-28

Recently, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Enterprise Mainline Technology signed a cooperation agreement with GuardStrike.

The two parties will jointly carry out the research, development and application of the autonomous driving virtual simulation test platform, and further improve the test operation requirements of autonomous driving trucks.

The two parties will jointly lead the development of relevant safety evaluation methods and group standards.

Truck.tech has successfully launched the "Trunk Master" autonomous driving system for a new generation of mass-produced autonomous trucks to operate in port and highway scenarios.

In 2021, Truck.tech obtained the first batch of commercial vehicle autonomous driving test licenses in Beijing, and took the lead in launching the normalized test of high-speed public roads for L4-level autonomous driving.

The company also launched a new upgraded virtual simulation test platform with independent intellectual property rights.

"The virtual simulation test platform of GuardStrike provides a vast 'parallel world' for autonomous trucks, which maps complex scenarios such as natural driving environments and multi-vehicle formations to the virtual world with high fidelity, which will greatly improve the test efficiency of autonomous trucks, and reduce the test risks and costs." said Wang Xiaodong, president of Truck.tech Science and Technology Research Institute.
