Beijing E-Town supports 64 projects in five months

"Our company moved into Beijing E-Town this February. By April, our unmanned minibus 'Dragon Boat ONE' obtained the road test license and drove on the road of Beijing E-Town," said Zhang Xiaochao, government affairs director of QCraft.

"Our company plans to build a subway connection line, micro-circulation bus, park commuter ferry, scenic sightseeing tours, unmanned taxis, and online appointment unmanned buses in Beijing E-Town by the end of this year," Zhang added.

As a general-purpose full-stack solution provider for unmanned driving, QCraft takes the "autonomous driving super factory" as the starting point, and is committed to realizing the implementation of autonomous driving in various scenarios.

For Beijing E-Town, the introduction of innovative enterprises represented by QCraft is a microcosm of its efforts to transform scientific and technological achievements of three science cities.

Three science cities and one hi-tech area refer to Zhongguancun Science City, Huairou Science City, Beijing Future Science Park, and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), which serve as major platforms for building Beijing into a national innovation center.

Since the beginning of this year, projects from three science cities have settled in Beijing E-Town one by one, forming the driving force for the high-quality development of the region.

Meanwhile, to boost the development of such companies, Beijing E-Town has also introduced finance service and achievement incubation and transformation institutions. 

From January to May this year, focusing on the four leading industries, Beijing E-Town has undertaken 64 scientific and technological achievements transformation projects from three science cities.
