Beijing E-Town aims for 100 billion-level industrial cluster

The 2022 International forum on Animation and Game Industry Development took place in Beijing E-Town on Sept 2, 2022.

Beijing E-Town is striving to build its science and culture integrated industry into a new 100 billion-level industrial cluster.

In recent years, the area has optimized and expanded the carrying space of its science and culture integrated industry, increased policy support, and attracted leading companies in the industry to accelerate the gathering of similar enterprises. 

In terms of policy support, Beijing E-Town focuses on high-tech audio-visual, gaming and e-sports, and issued a special industrial policy at the end of 2020.

Meanwhile, Beijing E-Town has built and formed nearly 500,000 square meters of industrial parks, including the China (Beijing) High-tech Audio-visual Industrial Park, the Beijing Smart E-sports Competition Center, the Beijing Smart Media Integration Digital Industry Innovation Center, and the Beijing Online Games New Technology Application Center.

Currently, 58 enterprises, including JD Gaming and Camel Games, have settled in Beijing E-Town, forming the following six industry characteristics: cultural equipment, cultural trade, creative design, audio-visual technology, art trading and digital technology.
