What kind of sparks will burst when history meets the metaverse? In the Metaverse Experience Hall of the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services, such cross-border collisions complement each other.

In the exhibition area of Beijing E-Town, three chapters of a story are told through metaverse technology: the time tunnel, the demonstration scene and the new future city.

Time Tunnel

Walking into the time tunnel, and going through the immersive space created by the ultra-high-definition large screen,  you are greeted by memorabilia from throughout the 30-year development process of Beijing E-Town. It allows visitors to experience the evolution process of Beijing E-Town from farmland to a new industrial city.

Demonstration scene

In the chapter of demonstration scenes, 3D modeling, real-time rendering, virtual humans and other technology are used to create nine demonstration scenes that reflect the characteristics of Beijing E-Town, such as the digital economy and metaverse life.

New future city

In the chapter of the new future city, the five major systems of "smart roads, intelligent cars, real-time cloud, reliable network and accurate map" of Beijing E-Town are reflected through virtual reality technology, and the achievements of the world's first networked cloud control high-level autonomous driving demonstration area are on display.

From the venue back to reality, Metaverse technology has been integrated into the urban life of Beijing E-Town. 

Currently, Beijing E-Town has carried out the 3D modeling of its core to promote the visualization, standardization and refinement of urban governance.
