Two Beijing E-Town projects feature in Beijing 10 smart application scenarios

Updated: 2022-09-19

At the launch ceremony of the Beijing venue of the 2022 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week and the Zhongguancun Innovation and Entrepreneurship Season on Sept 15, Beijing released the first batch of 10 smart application scenarios.

Among them, two scenarios are from Beijing E-Town, namely: the intelligent networked bus demonstration and the unmanned delivery vehicle-road collaborative application.

Demonstration project of the intelligent networked bus

The intelligent networked bus demonstration project is based on the construction of a high-level autonomous driving demonstration area in Beijing.

It integrates intelligent networked vehicle-road coordination and intelligent driving technology to create a highly reliable and low-latency transportation scenario.

By deploying road-side and vehicle-side collaborative equipment, driving blind spots are eliminated, real-time road conditions are estimated, and driving safety is effectively improved.

Various road information, traffic conditions and other data are transmitted in real time through the special network to complete the public transport system.

The interconnection of the public transportation system and the traffic management system realizes the intelligent dispatching of vehicle, road and cloud.

Collaborative application project of unmanned delivery vehicles and road

The project aims to solve the problems that unmanned delivery vehicles cannot accurately judge the remaining time of traffic signals, the intelligent recognition distance of bicycles is limited, and road conditions ahead cannot be predicted in advance.

Relying on the intelligent network infrastructure, the project explores the application of vehicle-road-cloud integration technology in unmanned delivery, promotes information control data interaction based on V2X communication, over-the-horizon perception, remote driving and other technical applications, and improves the pass rate of unmanned delivery vehicles at intersections and their safety.
