The 2022 World Internet Conference saw the launch of the release and display activity of "Jointly Building a Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace", during which 12 excellent cases were unveiled.

For the first time, the event publicly solicited practical cases from the public, and received positive responses and extensive participation from international organizations, Internet companies, technical communities, scientific research institutions and other parties.

A total of more than 200 application cases were collected, covering more than 100 countries and regions across 6 continents. After being selected by experts, 60 cases were produced to form a practical case collection, and 12 high-quality cases were further re-evaluated.

This initiative clarifies the importance of IPv6 deployment, and proposes to the world the prospects of increasing the integration and innovation of IPv6 technology, accelerating the practical application of pure IPv6, and strengthening the ecological construction of IPv6 industry.

With the release of the initiative, the world's largest pure IPv6 backbone network CERNET2, which was built by China, the 5GSA network based on pure IPv6 technology, which was built by China Telecom and other units, the IPv6 root server project, led by the Next Generation Internet Engineering Center, Alibaba and Tencent, and Internet products of companies such as Huawei, Google, and Amazon have fully enabled IPv6 support.

The number of network equipment products of companies such as Huawei and Cisco that have passed IPv6Ready certification is increasing rapidly. More and more companies and research institutions are participating in the practice of pure IPv6 to bring the development of global IPv6 into the "fast lane".
