WIFI, wireless charging, and big windmill in parks

Updated: 2022-11-22

As early as the National Day holiday, Beijing E-Town launched two cycling routes featuring science and technology culture and green ecology.

One of the slow-moving routes along Binhe Park with the theme of "Nature and Ecological Journey" is popular among residents.

On this route, people can walk slowly along Liangshui River from north to south, passing Liangshuihe Park, Tongming Lake Park, various green open spaces and cultural nodes, and experience the ecological beauty of Beijing E-Town.

The smart screen at the entrance of Binhe Park, the smart seats on the square, the smart light poles on the route, solar kiosks, and windmills for power generation are also favorite check-in points of citizens.

Tongming Lake is as smart as the park. An intelligent water quality monitoring system and a smart bird ecological monitoring system have been installed here.

Zhang Shuang, who lives in Beijing E-Town, walk around the Binhe Park every week.

She said that intelligent and environmentally friendly facilities and equipment can be seen everywhere in Binhe Park. And what she likes the most are the solar pavilions and windmills.

According to statistics, the six windmills in the park convert wind energy into electrical energy, store this energy in batteries, and use it for landscape lighting in the park, implementing the concept of energy saving, consumption reduction, and green environmental protection.
