Beijing E-Town completed 112 tasks of improving business environment

Updated: 2023-02-09

Recently, 112 tasks released last May by Beijing E-Town to improve its business environment through innovation have been completed, achieving phased results, according to the Economic Development Bureau of Beijing E-Town.

Among them, the pilot superimposed program of the "joint application for certificates and licenses" and "one integrated license" of Beijing E-Town have taken the lead in the country. The construction of a full-chain service system for biotechnology and big health industries has been replicated and promoted nationwide.

The pilot program of cross-border capital integrating local and foreign currencies has greatly facilitated cross-border capital flow. The country's first three-tier service system for enterprises now covers more than 10,000 enterprises, and 12 measures to reform government functions have been promoted throughout the city.

"You only need to come here and fill out one form, then the license is completed and you have market access." Said the manager of the Beijing Xinlikangda Entertainment Culture Development Co, which has obtained Beijing's first comprehensive license for video arcades.

Elderly care institutions have also benefited from the policy of "one integrated license", which is also China's first comprehensive license in the industry of elderly care institutions.

So far, companies from 20 industries in Beijing E-Town's "one integrated license" reform have obtained certificates. Processing time for enterprises has been reduced by about 70 percent.

"It only took about half a month, from the release of the policy, for Beijing E-Town to implement the policy, which has strengthened our confidence and determination for long-term development here." Said Xing Guotao, public affairs manager of ACROBiosystems Group.

Beijing E-Town has issued eight policies to promote the resumption of work and production, benefiting more than 2,000 enterprises, with the first batch of cashed funds reaching 107 million yuan ($15.77 million).
