Beijing E-Town establishes service base for enterprises to 'go global'
The China Customs Brokers Association has recently established a service base for enterprise to "go global" in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), aiming to support enterprises in efficiently and compliantly expanding into international markets.
Currently, international markets are constantly changing, posing new and higher requirements for trade compliance management. In response, the China Customs Brokers Association has launched the "Promotion Plan for Chinese Enterprises Going Global " and established the "China Enterprise Going Global Service Alliance" to bring together industry talents, services, publicity, and other resources to form a collaborative effort in providing going global services. This initiative aims to help Chinese enterprises to expand overseas more successfully, steadily, and safely.
With the support of this alliance, the service base for enterprise to "go global" in the Beijing E-Town can provide local enterprises with policy consultations on finance, taxation, investment, trade, customs, environmental protection in target export and investment countries, as well as services in architecture design, tax planning, cross-border supply chain, logistics, customs clearance, finance, insurance, legal matters, technology, intellectual property rights, and human resources to ensure successful expansion into international markets.
Since the establishment of the China Customs Brokers Association in Beijing E-Town, it has provided a platform for learning and exchange for import and export enterprises in the area, helping enterprises better understand policies and seize opportunities and more tangible benefits. The association also serves as a bridge for communication and cooperation between the Economic-Technological Development Area and foreign trade enterprises, facilitating the capturing of high-quality projects.
As an important gateway for the capital's opening-up to the outside world, the Beijing E-Town is the only high-end economic functional zone in the country that integrates the "Six Zone Policies". The area has achieved remarkable results in foreign investment and trade, with a total of 160 projects invested in by 105 Fortune 500 companies, accumulating a total investment of over $100 billion. In 2024, newly established foreign-funded enterprises increased by nearly 20 percent year-on-year, with actual foreign investment reaching nearly $1.4 billion, ranking third in the city and becoming an important focal point for foreign investment growth in Beijing.
