The Humanoid Intelligence Industry Seminar was recently held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development area (Beijing E-Town), launching the Humanoid Intelligence Assessment Laboratory Consortium on-site as well as the Humanoid Intelligence Industry Talent Diagram 1.0.

The consortium was initiated by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, with participation from multiple authoritative research and testing institutions, embodied intelligence enterprises in Shandong, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, and other regions, as well as leading humanoid robot and AI companies like Xiaomi, State Grid Corporation of China, JD Logistics, China Mobile, China Unicom, and other top-tier application providers.

With the establishment of the consortium, all participating parties will jointly promote the construction of assessment bases, the development of testing standards, the establishment of technical task groups, and the collaborative preparation of embodied intelligence assessment reports. They will also drive the mutual recognition and implementation of unified assessment standards and certification marks throughout the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, establishing a seamless cycle of "assessment-standards-application" in the embodied intelligence industry.

During the seminar, the Humanoid Intelligence Industry Talent Diagram 1.0 was also released.

This diagram directly addresses pain points, covering six major areas: strategy and management, research design and algorithms, engineering development and implementation, testing production and supply chain, commercial services and support, and functional support platforms. It specifically highlights the unique skill requirements of humanoid intelligence talent compared to traditional AI or robotics, such as multimodal perception fusion, algorithm optimization in real-world scenarios, and physical human-robot interaction (HRI) skills.

The release of the diagram signifies providing clear job definitions and competency standards for the industry. It will drive the establishment of standardized professional skills certification and talent evaluation systems, guiding the collaborative construction and sharing of resources throughout the industry chain. This will facilitate the coordinated cultivation of high-level, multidisciplinary talents.

During the roundtable session, the participating guests also discussed the bottlenecks of humanoid intelligence data and benchmarking issues in different scenarios. The representatives unanimously agreed that collaborative innovation and ecosystem co-creation in the four key areas of data, evaluation, application, and talent are the core driving forces for accelerating the rapid iteration of embodied intelligence technology, deep integration of scenarios, and healthy development of the industry.

In the future, Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center will continue to deepen cooperation, accelerate the implementation of the achievements of the consortium and the application of the talent diagram, jointly building an open and win-win ecosystem for the humanoid intelligence industry.
