A delegation of American educators recently visited Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), experiencing firsthand the cutting-edge technological innovations in the region and engaging in discussions on the integration and development of technology and education.

The delegation toured the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone Innovation Operation Center and Robot World.

As the first high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone in the country, the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone, China's first high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone, firmly implements the "China Solution" of autonomous driving vehicle-road coordination and actively promotes the development of autonomous driving technology and the application of intelligent guided vehicles. During the visit, the staff explained the evolution of the demonstration zone from stages 1.0 to 4.0, focusing on diverse applications such as airport autonomous driving shuttle services, remote takeover of unmanned logistics vehicles and the use of unmanned patrol vehicles to assist in police duties.

Subsequently, the delegation visited Robot World to further explore Beijing E-Town's robotics industry ecosystem. Robot World, a comprehensive robotics exhibition center, showcases representative products from the past 10 years of the World Robot Conference, demonstrating the widespread applications of robotics technology in industrial manufacturing, healthcare, home life, and other fields in recent years.

Beijing E-Town, the main base for high-end industries and a hub for strategic emerging industries in the capital, is actively promoting international exchanges with an open attitude, continuously expanding the space for multilevel and multifield exchange and cooperation.

The American educators' visit to China has not only deepened mutual understanding of technology application and educational innovation but also injected new vitality into cultural exchanges between China and the United States. The delegation members have expressed their hope to strengthen interactive exchanges in the future and jointly explore the development path of deep integration of education and technology.
