The finals of the 2025 RoBoLeague took place at the Beijing Smart Esports Events Center in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) on Saturday. After 3 hours of competition, the Fire God team from Tsinghua University ultimately won the championship.

This RoBoLeague event is not only the first test match of the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games and the first domestic 3v3 AI robot soccer match, but also a landmark scene for the cross-border integration of artificial intelligence and high-end manufacturing industries.

In the finals, the Blaze team of Beijing Information Science and Technology University, the Power Intelligent team of Tsinghua University Future Laboratory, the Fire God team of Tsinghua University, and the Shanhai team of China Agricultural University presented a "new" soccer competition feast that combines technology and competition for both on and off the pitch audiences.

After a fierce competition, in the final game, the robot players from the Fire God team and the Shanhai team staged a thrilling showdown head-on. As the game came to an end, the Fire God team ultimately secured a 5-3 score and won the final victory.

"At this moment, I am very excited. This championship is the achievement of the team's long-term technical accumulation and tacit cooperation. We always believe that robot soccer is not only a competition of technology, but also a manifestation of the spirit of 'love drives innovation, collaboration achieves excellence'. In the future, we will continue to explore the track of artificial intelligence and robot technology with this belief," said Fire God team captain Wang Yushi in an interview.

This RoBoLeague achieved two landmark breakthroughs: all participating robots operated entirely autonomously based on AI strategies, without the need for human safety personnel intervention, they were capable of independently performing actions such as falling and getting up; utilizing an optimized penalty mechanism significantly reduced interruptions during matches, enhancing the smoothness and intensity of the competition.

The event fully showcased the technological achievements of robots in areas such as motion control, visual perception, positioning navigation, decision-making planning, and multi-robot collaboration.

Conducted through on-site commentary and online live streaming, the competition led over a hundred journalists from more than 60 media outlets to attend.

In August, Beijing will host the World Humanoid Robot Games. Beijing E-Town will also rise as one of the world's leading stages for humanoid robot technology competition and industrial integration. Moving forward, E-Town will continue to deepen the development of the robot industry ecosystem, promote collaborative innovation among brain, cerebellum, body, core components companies, facilitate deep integration of industry, academia, and research, accelerate breakthroughs in key core technologies, and transform the influence of the event into a driving force for supporting the industrialization of humanoid robots, in a bid to accelerate the establishment of a leading domestic and world-class intelligent humanoid robot industry demonstration new area.
