Updated: 2025-09-25

The 2025 Beijing International Seminar on Micro-Electronics and IC World Conference is being held from Sept 24 to 26 in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town).

Since 2018, this event has been held for seven consecutive years in the Beijing E-Town, becoming the largest integrated circuit event in northern China that combines an academic symposium and an expo.

This year's conference will feature one summit forum, ten specialized sub-forums, and an expo held concurrently.

The summit forum will unite experts from top universities and research institutions, as well as leading companies in the integrated circuit industry chain, to discuss global cooperation, industry chain autonomy and control, and technological hotspots.

The ten specialized sub-forums will cover topics including cutting-edge technology, RISC-V commercialization, advanced storage, equipment materials, and green factory operations. These forums aim to promote the integration of industry, academia, research, and application, along with multi-chain collaboration, injecting new momentum into the global integrated circuit industry and fostering the prosperous development of China's integrated circuit sector.

The expo is planned to cover an exhibition area of approximately 4,000 square meters and invite over 130 leading integrated circuit companies, universities, and research institutions from both domestic and international sectors. The event will showcase the latest achievements in various fields of the integrated circuit industry, including design, equipment, materials, components, packaging and testing.

Notably, all academic forums and the expo at this year's conference are open to the public for free. Attendees can register online through the official "IC World Conference" WeChat account or the conference website. A real-name entry system will be implemented, so please bring your ID card, passport, or Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents/Taiwan Residents to enter the exhibition.
