The 2025 International Biomedical Industry Innovation Conference Beijing Forum commenced in Beijing E-Town on Oct 21.

This five-day event gathers experts from regulatory bodies, research institutions, medical organizations, and leading enterprises to discuss the biomedical innovation and collaboration industry.

On the opening day, three specialized events took place simultaneously: the "DIA Global Advanced Therapeutic Products Sub-Forum", the "Forum on High-Quality Development of Innovative Medical Devices", and the "ICH Forum-Overview of Select ICH Guidance for Clinical Trials." Attendees explored advanced therapeutics, innovative medical devices, and international technical guidelines. These discussions aimed to provide professional insights for industry innovation by combining a global perspective with local practices.

In the following days, the forum will feature a plenary session, closed-door meetings, and sub-forums on global regulatory collaboration, AI-driven research and development, and cell and gene therapy.

On October 25, Beijing E-Town will officially unveil its BioPark planning scheme during the plenary session.

As the host location for this forum, Beijing E-Town has become a hub for over 5,000 biopharmaceutical companies, with a comprehensive industry chain that spans R&D, production, services, and sales. By 2024, its biotechnology and health industries are projected to contribute nearly half of the city's total output in these sectors.
