Techmach, a world-famous manufacturer in the converting industry, located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, recently started construction of an artificial intelligent visual testing research and development center in an effort to upgrade its product quality real-time control to an international advanced micron level. 

Established in 2007, Techmach not only introduces world advanced products but also independently researches and develops intelligent quality control devices. Production lines for lithium batteries, rubber tires and sanitary products are hard to control in terms of quality because of rapid production speed and minor defects. Techmach's research and development, aimed at solving this difficulty as well as other problems of the industry, has made it well-known.

Five years ago, Techmach settled down in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area where a number of high-end industries were gathered and began to continuously upgrade its technological strength and expand its market. 

"Based on successful experience in years of independent research and development and sustainable optimization of an innovation environment of the regional industry, we launched the construction of an artificial intelligent visual testing research and development center," said Yang Mu, general manager of Techmach. 

Currently, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area is pushing forward the constructions of an Integrated Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Service Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area is rapidly upgrading its business environment and innovation environment, which motivated Techmach to build the center. 

According to Yang, Techmach will invest more than 100 million yuan in further expanding the research team and upgrading intelligent quality control technologies in order to raise its online quality control accuracy to the international leading level.

In the lithium battery industry, micron-level accuracy is an actual demand of customers and a necessary part of online quality control. It is a key support for the high stability and high reliability of the quality of relevant products. Micron-level accuracy is the level of product quality accuracy that can only be seen through a microscope. 

In the lithium battery industry, no company in the world so far has been able to achieve real-time online quality control to micron-level accuracy. With its R&D center, Techmach plans to fulfill real-time online quality control to micron-level accuracy within 2 to 3 years and apply it to the lithium battery and electronic products industries.
