BDA's listed companies issue encouraging first-quarter financial reports

Listed companies in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) recently disclosed their first-quarter financial reports. Many show that the companies have doubled their net profits in the first quarter.

BOE's first-quarter financial report show that its operating income reached 49.66 billion yuan ($7.72 billion), a year-on-year increase of 107.87 percent, and its single-quarter revenue hit a record high. The net profit available to shareholders of listed companies reached 5.18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 814.16 percent.

The operating income and net profit of other companies were also bullish. NAURA Technology Group's first quarter 2021 performance announcement stated that its revenue was approximately 1.42 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 51.76 percent; its net profit amounted to approximately 72.91 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 175.27 percent.

JYT Corporation also doubled its net profit. According to its 2021 quarterly report, the company's revenue was 1.10 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50.58 percent, and its net profit was 217 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 157.49 percent.

In the first quarter of 2021, Pharmaron realized a net profit of 246 million yuan available to shareholders, a year-on-year increase of 142.20 percent.

In the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), it is proposed to create an "industrial goose array" in which leading enterprises and system integrators are closely followed by upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain.

BOE, Corning, TPV, Sumitomo Chemical, D-VIEW and other companies have gathered to form a complete industrial chain in the BDA.

In addition, a number of listed companies such as NAURA Technology Group, JYT Corporation, BAIC Blue Valley, IAT Automobile Technology, Goldwind Technology, Center Incorporation, and Pharmaron are also driving the high-quality development of the entire industry.

In 2020, Beijing E-Town had seven companies listed, an increase of 250 percent year-on-year, and the fourth highest number in Beijing. There are now 34 listed companies in the region.
