"Financial opening and innovation is significant in the construction of the 'Two zones', which is why the Government Affairs Service Center cooperates with the BDA branch of the Bank of China to provide enterprises with services such as foreign exchange purchase and payment." officials of the service center noted.

In the past, to process foreign exchange purchases and payments, you needed to submit your passport, a foreigner work permit, a labor contract, an income certificate, a tax payment certificate and other materials at the bank branch, and repeat the process in every application.

After the opening of the "Two Zones" service counter, foreign talents can apply for a "one-stop" application and submit relevant materials at the same time, just as other businesses are handled in the International Human Resources Service Office.

After the original materials are approved and included in a White List, subsequent processing can be free from repeated submission of materials, which simplifies offline processing and reduces processing time.

Meanwhile, the counter can also offer consulting and appointment services for other big cross-border capital businesses.

In addition, the "Two Zones" tax consulting counter can provide consulting and interpretation services such as foreign individual income tax policies, tax treaty benefits for non-residents, and foreign payment policies.

The intellectual property service counter provides consulting services such as PCT international patent applications, patent applications from overseas countries and regions, and information about the intellectual property legal environment of overseas countries and regions.

The comprehensive consulting counter window provides consultation on difficulties of foreign-funded enterprises and responds to their feedback.
