Recently, the theme day of the HICOOL 2021 Global Entrepreneurs Summit was held in Beijing.

At an awards ceremony held on Sept 11, the HICOOL 2021 Global Entrepreneurship Competition and the list of winners of the Bole Award were announced. 

One hundred and forty projects stood out in the Global Entrepreneurship Competition, and 11 enterprise projects from the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) made the list. Among the seven first prize projects, the BDA enterprise project won three seats.

The HICOOL Global Entrepreneurs Summit aims to unite the world's top investment institutions, large enterprises, media, universities and other institutions to establish and improve the "full chain" entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The theme of this year's summit and entrepreneurship competition is "Entrepreneurship interconnection, innovation without boundaries" in the form of "competition, discussion, exhibition, investment, and show". 

The contest attracted more than 4,000 entrepreneurial projects and over 5,000 entrepreneurial talents from 84 countries and regions to participate. This year's awards increased by 20 million yuan ($3.1 million), bringing the total to 100 million yuan.

After the competition, 140 projects won awards in the HICOOL Global Entrepreneurship Competition. 

The number of first, second, third, and other winning projects were 7, 21, 42 and 70 respectively. 

Among the 11 award-winning projects in the BDA, first prizes went to the high-throughput genetic testing project of Huge biological pathogenic microorganisms, the technology R&D and industrialization project of Beijing Soft Robot Tech Co., Ltd., and the automatic driving solution of Windbreaker trunk logistics of Beijing Hongjing Drive Tech Co., Ltd. 

Two projects won second prize, three projects won third prize, and three projects won other winning prizes.
