Since the start of COVID-19 vaccinations in early January of 2020, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) has actively explored the application of multiple vaccination methods on residents. 

It provides door-to-door vaccination services, and continuously facilitates conditions by adding temporary vaccination points and mobile buses in densely populated areas such as shopping malls and parks. .

After 70 days of construction,  the No. 108 building project (Phase III of the COVID-19 Vaccine Workshop) of Sinopharm China National Biotech Beijing Institute of Biological Products, announced that all three vaccine production workshops have been completed and will become operational on May 6.

Up to now, the three vaccine production workshops have supplied more than 1.7 billion doses of vaccines at home and abroad, and have obtained emergency use or market access in more than 100 countries around the world.

Not long ago, the Omicron variant swept across many countries. To support global scientific research and anti-epidemic, Sino Biological urgently launched research and development, and quickly conducted a series of work from molecular construction, to cell culture, to protein purification, and quality verification. 

In just six days, the recombinant protein of Omicron mutant strain was developed.

The BDA has done its best to support epidemic prevention and continues to guarantee the safety of the Chinese people. 

Since the beginning of this year, it has tracked and helped drugs like Staidson to enter the green channel, and supported 76 COVID-19 inspections and therapeutic drugs to achieve R&D and transformation.
