A total of 16 large screens built by Shangyicheng Group, a BDA enterprise, are livestreaming the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics in all corners of Beijing.

The Beijing Winter Olympics is the world's first large-scale live broadcast of a sports events using 8K technology, and a historic first to use same technology to live broadcast the opening ceremony.

Beijing Ultra HD Video Technology Co., Ltd. was established under the leadership of Shangyicheng Group to build and operate 8K ultra-high-definition large screens throughout the city.

According to Beijing Ultra HD Company, the application of EUHT technology in 8K fully reflects the application of China's high-reliability, large-bandwidth and low-latency independent communication technology.

EUHT is the acronym for Enhanced Ultra High Throughput. As the name suggests, it is an ultra-high-speed wireless communication system designed to meet the requirements of high reliability, low latency, large capacity and high mobility.

Since the launch of the world's first networked cloud-controlled high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone in the BDA, EUHT (new wireless communication technology and standard) and LTE-V (specialized protocol for workshop communication) made the wireless private network setup of the 8K large screens feasible.
