This lays the foundation for the mass production of more domestic Mercedes-EQ pure electric vehicles, but also drives Beijing Benz to fulfill its commitment to high-quality sustainable development.

The new generation   batteries are said to have excellent performance, efficiency and charging capacity. The battery meets Mercedes-Benz's global standards in terms of safety, durability and battery life, and will be integrated into the new EQE intelligent thermal management system.

Mercedes-Benz has seven battery factories around the world, respectively in China, the United States, Thailand, Poland and Germany. The Beijing Benz battery factory was built in 2019 and is an integral part of Mercedes-Benz's global battery production network. It is also the world's first overseas battery factory of the Mercedes-Benz Group.
