Yang Xiuling, secretary of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) Working Committee, met with Zhang Yihao, president and CEO of GE Healthcare in China, via video on Dec 7. 

Yang expressed her gratitude to GE Healthcare for its help and contribution to the BDA during the pandemic. She pointed out that as one of the four leading industries in the BDA, the biomedicine and big health industry has entered a 100-billion-level market milestone. This is very much a part of   the innovative development of leading companies like GE Healthcare.

On learning that GE Healthcare achieved full production in the fourth quarter of this year and achieved year-on-year growth, Yang remarked that she felt very happy for the company. She proposed that the BDA will continue to optimize the business environment,   reform government functions, and provide more opportunities for enterprises. 

Zhang spoke highly of the BDA's achievements in coordinating epidemic prevention and control，and thanked the BDA for its support and assistance to GE Healthcare's operation.
