In September 2022, the "Two Zones" office of Beijing E-Town led many enterprises and organizations to apply for the establishment of the Foreign-funded Enterprise Branch of the Beijing E-Town Enterprise Association.

It aims to improve the service for foreign enterprises and organizations in Beijing E-Town, optimize the foreign investment business environment, promote the development of foreign enterprises and organizations, and attract more foreign resources to the area, thus boosting the construction of the "Two Zones" and industrial upgrading.

Head of 11 companies including Schneider (Beijing) Low Voltage Electrical, Bayer Healthcare, Beijing ABB Bailey Engineering, and Biotech Pharmaceutical were elected as vice-chairpersons of the Foreign-funded Enterprise Branch of Beijing E-Town.

Since the establishment of Beijing E-Town, a total of 965 foreign-funded enterprises have been attracted, and the actual use of foreign capital has reached $10.83 billion.

Foreign-funded enterprises have become witnesses and promoters of the rapid development of Beijing E-Town and an indispensable force in its development. With the establishment of the new branch, such companies will have a "home" in the area.

In the future, the Foreign-funded Enterprise Branch of Beijing E-Town will play its role as a foreign-funded enterprise service platform, build bridges between foreign-funded enterprises and government, foreign-funded enterprises and various market service entities, and attract more foreign-funded enterprises to settle in Beijing E-Town.

Representatives from the China International Investment Promotion Association, the Beijing E-Town Enterprise Association, the "Two Zones" office of Beijing E-Town, and key foreign-funded enterprises in the area attended the meeting.
