The China Acrobatic Troupe Arts Center is a key project in Beijing in 2023. The total construction area is approximately 62,000 square meters, with a total investment of up to 951 million yuan ($138.3 million).

It will include one large comprehensive theater with 1,950 seats, one small theater with 800 seats, one multi-functional small theater with 300 seats, as well as facilities such as a stage design center, civil defense shelter, and underground parking.

The iconic large comprehensive theater draws inspiration from the traditional Chinese handicraft "The Tray of Togetherness" to showcase the acrobatic art's ingenuity and the artists' enthusiasm through intricate and exquisite designs.

The northwest side of the building is inspired by another Chinese traditional handicraft-- "Hundred Crafts Box" and combines traditional theaters, small theaters, and rehearsal halls to form a diverse space for performances and rehearsals.

After completion, the center will provide rehearsal and performance venues and management support housing for the China National Acrobatic Troupe and the Beijing Quju Opera Troupe under the Beijing Performance & Arts Group.

It will also establish the Beijing Performance & Arts Group's stage design center to further meet the needs of various art forms, such as acrobatics and Quju Opera.
