Spring has arrived again this year, and the paulownia flowers on both sides of Hongda North Road in Beijing E-Town are in full bloom, bringing a romantic touch of purple-pink to the area.

A Weibo post from "Beijing E-Town" went viral on Apr 14. Various media outlets reposted it, and within just four hours, it had already surpassed 1 million views! Not only that, Paulownia Avenue has also gained a lot of attention on social media platforms such as WeChat Moments and Douyin.

In mid-April, the overwhelming purple romantic scene and the city's fragrant air amazed everyone, so much so that people who came to see the flowers dressed in purple and rejoiced in being surrounded by the blossoms'  lingering scent. In such moments, we flower lovers all become a part of an eye-pleasing painting.

Paulownia Avenue in Beijing E-Town has been incredibly popular for several years, earning its internet reputation as a famous road. 

Every year in mid to late April, when the paulownia flowers bloom, the varying shades of purple and pink create a dreamlike scene that attracts numerous tourists to paint, take photos, write poems, and just check in. When the metro Yizhuang Line passes by, it becomes a classic scene - the metro bound for spring passes through the blooming flowers in the city.

In the early days of the construction of Beijing E-Town, the founders themselves planted the 3300-meter-long Paulownia Avenue, hoping that it would bring good luck and prosperity to the area. Today, Beijing E-Town has transformed from farmland into an innovation highland.

Tall paulownia trees hold up purple umbrellas, and the blooming paulownia flowers herald the arrival of a vibrant spring. The paulownia trees on Paulownia Avenue grow taller and more upright with each passing year, and they bloom alongside peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, winter jasmines, forsythias, and magnolias during the flowering season, making Beijing E-Town a breathtaking sight.

This year, with the launch of the "Welcome Spring" 2023 Beijing Cultural and Tourism Consumption Series activities, 10 "Strolling in Beijing – 2023 Spring Blossom Theme Tour Routes" have been released. 

The theme tour "Paulownia Avenue – Beijing E-Town Riverside Park" in Beijing E-Town, serving as the southeast route, has received widespread attention from the public.
