ABB LV Installation Materials Co held a ceremony for the completion of its microcircuit breaker automated flexible production line in Beijing E-Town on May 17. 

Kong Lei, director of the Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee and other Beijing E-Town officials attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

ABB LV Installation Materials Co (Beijing), is one of the ABB global manufacturers of low-voltage products in China. 

It possesses the latest technological achievements in the field of smart buildings and digitization, as well as representative smart factories and national-level green factories in the robotics and intelligent manufacturing industries. 

The company is also one of the benchmark enterprises for intelligent manufacturing in Beijing E-Town. The application of automation, digitization, and intelligent manufacturing technologies in the new flexible production line further enhances its production efficiency and quality stability while reducing manufacturing costs. 

The combination of automated production lines with different design concepts and production modes improves the responsiveness and delivery capabilities of customer orders, shortening the order delivery cycle.

ABB's intelligent manufacturing upgrade is a microcosm of intelligent manufacturing in Beijing E-Town. 

In recent years, Beijing E-Town has implemented the "New Intelligent Manufacturing 100" project, accelerating the construction of a group of world-class  benchmark factories. 

According to the list of Beijing's intelligent factories and digital workshops announced in 2022, Beijing E-Town has 15 digital workshops and 16 intelligent factories, ranking first in the city.
