The four-day 2023 International (ETown) Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Science and Technology Week and the 10th International Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology Annual Conference (CICV 2023) opened at Beijing ETrong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing E-Town on May 16.

Kong Lei, director of the Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee, stated that the Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone has currently established a city-level engineering test platform and issued ten innovative policies, granting licenses to more than 600 autonomous driving vehicles, and attracting nearly a hundred innovative companies in the field of intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) to settle and develop in Beijing E-Town.

This year, the demonstration zone will expand its area by constructing an additional 100 square kilometers within Beijing E-Town, gradually completing the construction of a 500-square-kilometer demonstration zone throughout the city, and accelerating the development of the industrial ecosystem for ICVs.
