New landmark in esports emerges

The opening ceremony of the Beijing Smart Esports Events Center and JDG Home Stadium was held in the Beijing E-Town on June 8.

The Beijing E-Town has always attached great importance to the development of the esports industry.

The area has issued special policies for gaming esports, planned and built a number of key parks integrating science and culture industries, and attracted top companies such as JD Gaming. 

The newly opened Beijing Smart Esports Events Center covers an area of 67,000 square meters and includes the JDG Intel Esports Center, an esports industry complex building, and a vibrant commercial street.

The JDG Intel Esports Center's main broadcasting hall is currently the only local esports venue in Beijing. The outdoor ultra-high-definition LED screen on the northwest facade, with an area of nearly 900 square meters, is the largest naked-eye 3D screen in the Beijing area. It is connected with an indoor P3 high-definition full-color LED screen with a total area of over 680 square meters. 

The project also focuses on creating five platforms: esports events, esports education, esports ecology, application of new esports technologies, and cultivation of esports culture and IP. It has established the only professional esports arena in Beijing, attracting upstream and downstream companies in the esports industry led by JD Gaming, introducing the Beijing JDG Intel Club, and becoming the first home venue for LPL (League of Legends) events in Beijing.

Furthermore, the JDG headquarters and training base located here are also equipped with various intelligent technology experience devices, allowing viewers to experience the latest 3C and AR smart devices while watching matches.

In the future, the Beijing Smart Esports Events Center will be developed into China's first esports museum, a "5G+8K" esports events cloud broadcasting center, an esports industry education and training standardization center, and an esports industry live broadcasting sharing center. 

Additionally, relevant companies from the Electronic Sports Working Committee of the China Cultural Administrative Association will also settle here, introducing a series of esports businesses such as esports clubs, event operations, programs and talent management, self-media promotion, esports education and training, and esports industry incubation platforms, and building a world-class gathering space for the entire esports industry.
