The esports industry has garnered enormous following since its inclusion in the Asian Games for the first time, and it has now become a widely observed cultural and sports phenomenon.

"We can't achieve such outstanding results without the support from Beijing E-Town, whose keen sense and policy support for emerging industries have acted as the best catalyst for business development," said Ye Jingbo, CEO of JD Gaming.

To promote the high-quality development and brand building of the gaming industry, Beijing E-Town has introduced key policies.

New companies entering the area can receive a 50 percent rental subsidy and rewards for major projects. Innovation and engineering technology centers in various levels of gaming and esports domains can receive one-time funding of 10 million yuan ($1.38 million) if they obtain national-level qualifications. The highest reward for national and city-level award-winning games is 2 million yuan.

Esports clubs that achieve outstanding results in major international and domestic events can be awarded up to 2 million yuan. For companies in the area that host highly international and influential events, they can receive up to 5 million yuan in funding. These favorable measures have drawn significant attention and boosted the confidence of various esports enterprises.

Meanwhile, Beijing E-Town is also striving to build its own esports brand IP. The second Dadu Dongnan Science and Art Festival's esports competition successfully concluded online last December.

Currently, the Beijing Smart Esports Event Center has become a new cultural symbol for Beijing. The center not only serves as a gathering place for esports fans, creating a distinct cultural atmosphere but also drives the landing of outstanding esports companies, equipment research and development companies, gaming content companies, new cultural and entertainment companies, and other leading companies.

It is worth mentioning that a player's ability evaluation center has been built in the training base, which can help young people to better understand their future development direction and provide support for cultivating esports talent.
