Companies seek secrets of energy conservation

Representatives from 10 companies located in Beijing E-Town visited the Goldwind Technology Park on July 14. 

They included representatives from companies such as ZF Chassis Systems (Beijing) Co, Beijing Tongyizhong New Material Technology Co, and RF Micro Devices Beijing Co.

During the visit, they toured the park, exchanged experiences, and had discussions on green development.

As China's first smart park for renewable energy and carbon neutrality, the Goldwind Technology Park utilizes renewable energy generation equipment to achieve self-sufficiency in electricity. 

It also relies on advanced energy-saving technology to enhance intelligence in water management, operations, micro-agriculture, and sports and health, thereby further improving the park's energy efficiency. 

"We have spent more than a decade exploring an innovative path for driving a smart park with intelligent energy," a spokesperson from the Goldwind Technology Park said,

During the event, the visiting enterprises toured various facilities within the park, such as the smart exhibition hall, the central control center, Goldwind University, the energy operations center, and rooftop photovoltaics. 

They learned about the development history, industrial model, products, and technologies of Goldwind Technology, gaining a real understanding of the advanced nature of the intelligent wind power industry.

From July 10 to 16 marks the National Energy Conservation Week in China. Beijing E-Town organized various activities around the theme of "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction, Hand in Hand." 

These activities included the launch of the 2023 Energy Conservation Week and Low-Carbon Day training sessions, community and enterprise outreach during the Energy Conservation Week, and other initiatives. 

Green development has always been an essential aspect of the high-quality development in Beijing E-Town. 

The activities during the Energy Conservation Week are just a glimpse of the ongoing efforts to solidify green development concepts. 

According to the Beijing E-Town Economic Development Bureau, they will leverage green development funds to promote the use of new energy sources such as photovoltaics and heat pumps, enhance research and development capabilities in green and low-carbon technologies.
