Just after completing the live broadcast of an esports event, Beijing E-Town's 8K ultra-high-definition giant screen received a new mission - to broadcast and relay the opening ceremony of the 31st Summer Edition of the FISU World University Summer Games, or the Chengdu Universiade, on the evening of July 28.

"The link has been tested and is ready to broadcast as soon as the Chengdu Universiade begins." After intense preparation, the link was finally tested at 12:00 pm on July 28, an hour earlier than the time estimated by Xie Shuai, the technical director of Beijing Ultra-HD Video Technology Co. 

According to Xie, with the further promotion of commercial operation and scenario-based construction in Beijing E-Town's ultra-high-definition industry, the application scenarios of the 8K ultra-high-definition giant screen continue to expand. It has undertaken and completed important national and Beijing municipal relay tasks multiple times.

At 8:00 pm, Beijing Ultra-HD Company operated the first of the 8K ultra-high-definition giant screens across the city to broadcast the opening ceremony of the Chengdu Universiade on schedule. 

With the support of 8K technology, the giant screen displayed all the details of the scene, making the audience feel as if they were present at the opening ceremony. 

"Standing on the streets of Beijing E-Town, you can feel the excitement of the Chengdu Universiade opening ceremony. This unique joy belongs to us who live and work here," said Mr. Zhang, who lives near the Dazu Plaza.

The 8K ultra-high-definition giant screen is just a small step in Beijing E-Town's efforts to create an ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry chain. 

In the future, more application scenarios for the ultra-high-definition industry will be cultivated, fully leveraging the aggregate effect of 8K industry technology, funds, and talents, and promoting the high-quality development of the entire high-definition audiovisual industry chain in Beijing E-Town and even the entire city of Beijing.
