Nearly a hundred residents of Beijing E-Town had the opportunity to enjoy a professional performance by actors from the Beijing Peking Opera Theater right at their doorstep, experiencing the unique charm of Peking Opera up close.

Before the performance began, the professional actors from the Beijing Peking Opera Theater gave an informative and easy-to-understand introduction to Peking Opera for the audience.

As the music began, a segment of "Wu Jia Po" officially opened the performance. It is worth noting that the performance is a part of the Peking Opera "The Red-Maned Fiery Steed," which tells the love story of Wang Baochuan and Xue Pinggui. The clear and melodious singing, graceful movements, and splendid performance received a tidal wave of applause from the audience.

"As an old fan of Peking Opera, being able to hear a wonderful performance by professional actors without leaving the area is thanks to Beijing E-Town's emphasis on the quality of our spiritual and cultural life. Therefore, I feel particularly happy," said Mr. Wang, an 80-year-old resident.

According to the head of the Cultural and Publicity Department, this Peking Opera performance, as part of the 15th Cultural and Arts Festival's "benefit the people" program, had already been introduced into Ronghua Street at the beginning of September and was well-received by residents in the jurisdiction.

It's worth mentioning that the department will also collaborate with the Beijing Performing Arts Group and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra to bring excellent performances to streets, communities, schools, and enterprises.
