The night was serene, and the auditorium had a festive atmosphere.

At 7:30 pm, the concert began with the grand and moving "Ode to the Motherland." In familiar classic melodies, the audience "saw" epic historical scenes and "heard" the resounding and heroic footsteps.

The concert reached its climax with the original composition "Dadu Dongnan" (The Southeast of the Capital), which portrayed the transformation of Beijing E-Town from farmland into a vibrant and dazzling smart city, from its humble beginnings of 3.8 square kilometers to a 225-square-kilometer industrial cluster, from an unknown corner in southern Beijing to a pioneer in the capital's high-quality development.

As an integral part of the 2023 "Dafu Dongnan" Science and Art Festival and the 15th Cultural and Art Festival, the concert aimed to bless the prosperity and strength of the motherland and celebrate the people's well-being. It consisted of three segments: "Blessings to the Motherland," "Moonlight Shining in the Southeast," and "Singing in the New Era.

The concert featured 17 performances encompassing various artistic forms such as symphony, choir, and poetry. Among them were not only classic songs like "Ode to Beijing," "Kissing the Motherland," "Chasing the Colored Clouds to the Moon," "Jasmine Flower," and "I Love You, China," but also the original song "Dadu Dongnan" created by lyricists and composers from Beijing E-Town. There was also a poetic recitation titled "Dadu Dongnan," specially composed by renowned performing artists for this concert.

The concert, presented by Beijing E-Town in collaboration with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra and the Beijing Musicians Association Choir, was dedicated to the residents of Beijing E-Town for their enjoyment during the double festivals.
