Updated: 2023-10-31

Beijing E-Town recently facilitated three face-to-face exchange events between the government and enterprises, offering the most optimal services and support to businesses in terms of policy interpretation, investment connections, and resource guarantees.

Interpreting policies face to face

Beijing E-Town's Administrative Service Center, in collaboration with the "Two Zones" Office, organized a policy interpretation seminar on several policies to support the high-quality development of foreign-invested enterprises on Oct 20. Over 20 businesses from the jurisdiction participated in the meeting.

Officials from the administrative service center explained in detail the specific content of the foreign investment policies, which included support for the establishment of headquarters for multinational corporations, upgrading and expanding existing foreign-invested businesses, strengthening full life-cycle development services for foreign-invested companies, and supporting international talent innovation and entrepreneurship.

The 'Two Zones' Office representatives also answered questions raised by participating companies.

Promoting connections face to face

The second part of the "2023 Intelligent Connected Vehicles Industry Investment and Connection Conference," organized by the Beijing Municipal High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone (BJHAD) Office, took place in Beijing E-Town on Oct 20.

Six companies, including iGentAI and ReaVis, introduced their projects one by one. After each presentation, representatives from investment organizations engaged in additional discussions regarding technical details, marketing strategies, and financing requirements for projects they found interesting.

Beijing E-Town also promoted BJHAD and the Dazu Intelligent Connected Vehicles Innovation Map to participating companies.

Guarantee resources face to face

A salon themed on intellectual property rights empowering business development was hosted online by the Office of Safety Construction of the Beijing E-Town Working Committee.

Over 50 business representatives, including senior executives, finance professionals, knowledge management personnel, and lawyers, from companies within the zone participated.

During the event, Liu Daochen, vice chairman of the Beijing E-Town Lawyers Association and a senior intellectual property lawyer, used classic cases to discuss the relationship between the intellectual property system and business operations.

He compared international intellectual property business operation models and provided an in-depth explanation of practices and effects related to increasing corporate profits through intellectual property.

Liu also engaged in extensive discussions with participating business representatives, addressing their queries on how to manage and protect intellectual property.
