E-Town New Area will construct seven new roads

The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission recently approved the funding application report for seven roads in E-Town New Area. 

These seven roads are essential components of E-Town New Area's main road network and serve as important supports for surrounding industrial parks.

South Street, New South District (Mazhu Road - Huanyu East Fifth Road): Approximately 2.2 kilometers in length, planned as the city's main road with a boundary line width of 60 meters and a six-lane two-way road. It borders the integrated circuit industrial park's southern boundary and serves as a municipal energy channel.

Mazhu Road (South Street, New South District – Xinsi Road): Approximately 1.2 kilometers in length, planned as the city's main road with a boundary line width of 40 meters and a six-lane two-way road. It marks the western boundary of the integrated circuit industrial park, serving as a north-south transportation artery and regional municipal energy channel.

Jingsheng South Sixth Street (Mazhu Road - Huanyu East Fifth Road): Approximately 2.1 kilometers in length, planned as the city's secondary road with a boundary line width of 40 meters and a four-lane two-way road. It serves as the east-west transportation artery and municipal energy channel for the integrated circuit industrial park.

Huanyu Central Road (Xinsi Road - South Street, New South District): Approximately 1 kilometer in length, planned as the city's secondary road with a boundary line width of 40 meters and a four-lane two-way road. It serves as the north-south transportation artery and municipal energy channel for the integrated circuit industrial park.

Huanyu East Fifth Road (South Street, New South District - Xinsi Road): Approximately 0.9 kilometers in length, planned as the city's secondary road with a boundary line width of 30 meters and a four-lane two-way road. It marks the eastern boundary of the integrated circuit industrial park and serves as a municipal energy channel.

Huanjing Road (South Street, New South District - Xinsi Road): Approximately 1.4 kilometers in length, planned as the city's main road with a boundary line width of 40 meters and a four-lane two-way road. It serves as the external transportation and distribution channel for Xiaomi Industrial Park and a municipal energy channel.

Yitong Street (Tongyi Road - Huanjing Road): Approximately 0.5 kilometers in length, planned as the city's secondary road with a boundary line width of 40 meters and a four-lane two-way road. It serves as an external transportation and distribution channel for Xiaomi Industrial Park and a municipal energy channel.

All seven roads will include transportation, lighting, landscaping, rainwater, wastewater, water supply, and recycled water projects. The construction is planned to commence in 2024, with completion and opening to traffic expected by 2026.

Upon completion, these roads will further facilitate the high-quality development of industries in E-Town New Area and meet the project requirements of key industries more effectively.
