Foreign delegation visits Nanhaizi milu deer park in Beijing E-Town
Foreign travel agents and media representatives from countries including Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and Australia recently visited the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) and toured Nanhaizi milu deer park on June 1.
As part of the 2025 Beijing Inbound Tourism Development Conference's experience activities, the foreign guests visited the milu deer nature reserve, experiencing up close the legendary ecological stories of endangered species and appreciating the unique charm of the new cultural and tourism scenes in southern Beijing.
In the park, alongside the lake's shimmering waters and amid the lush grass, grazing and walking milu deer were the main focal point of the guests' cameras.
The foreign delegation also visited the milu deer museum. Led by a guide, they immersed themselves in an interactive understanding of the milu deer species, from its ancient glory to near-extinction in modern times, and then through the twists and turns of returning to the motherland and thriving again.
The museum is the only specialized ecological museum in China whose theme is the milu deer, integrating ecological conservation, popular science education and cultural dissemination. In recent years, it has continued to carry out international exchanges and research activities, becoming a landmark for the integrated development of green ecology and cultural tourism in the Beijing E-Town.
In the future, Beijing E-Town will continue to deepen its integration of ecology and cultural tourism, creating more internationally appealing tourism products and continuously supporting the construction of Beijing as a global tourism destination and China's preferred inbound tourism destination.
